Explore three distinctive Taiwan hiking routes in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. Each route includes course notes, access information, and a route map placeholder ready for the final WayMe links.

Taipei Route

A steep urban-to-mountain ridge trail climbing Elephant Mountain, offering panoramic basin views and iconic vistas of the Taipei 101 skyscraper.

Taichung Route

A moderate 10k loop through Dakeng’s green ridgelines, beautiful Taichung city viewpoints and the historic Fengdongshi balancing rock with a strong sense of progression.

A gentle coastal hike through Shoushan’s unique coral reef karst terrain, featuring wild macaques and scenic views of Kaohsiung Port.

How are route champions ranked?

Route champion winners are based on the number of valid completions for each specific route during the challenge period.

How are social post winners ranked?

The Top 3 posts on Instagram with photos (or videos) taken while doing the challenge using #WayMeTTT and tagged with @wayme_outdoor_tw will win. Based on likes. One post / account. Public accounts with like count visible only. Leaderboards updated weekly.

What safety rules apply?

Participants are responsible for their own safety, weather judgment, hydration, transport, and trail readiness. WayMe supports safer navigation, but participants must use common sense and follow local regulations.
